Runs on tag pushes or workflow_dispatch. Auto-detects the previous tag and writes notes you can commit or attach.

Install

Unzip. Run node cli/bin/shipnotes.js --help (Node 18+).
For CI: copy cli/ and action/ into .github/shipnotes/ and add a workflow (see the zip README).
On release day: shipnotes --tag v1.0.0 --outfile CHANGELOG.md or let the Action run on your v* tag push.

How do I buy?

What is the license?

After purchase you may use ShipNotes in personal and commercial projects. You may not resell or redistribute it as a competing release-notes product. See our Terms.

Does it call the network?

No. The CLI only reads git history (or stdin) and writes markdown. The Action runs on GitHub runners using the vendored CLI.

Do I need conventional commits?

They work best. Non-matching subjects land under Other so you still get a usable notes file.

Do you offer refunds?
